This past Friday EOTO kicked off their tour in my hometown of Boston. They brought a new and improved set of visuals to go along with their Lotus stage and a killer set of lasers to dazzle the crowd. Take a look at these photos from the night!
It’s that time again! EOTO is embarking on their “We All Ascend” Spring 2013 tour starting Thursday in Boston. They will be playing shows throughout the Northeast and Southeastern states before heading back to Colorado for a short 3 night run before finally capping things off in St. Louis.
They’ll be returning with an upgraded Lotus stage complete with custom lasers.

On Thursday, February 9 EOTO debuted their new Lotus stage setup. Masterminded by the one and only VJ Zebbler, this 17 foot apparatus did not fail to impress. The Zebbler Encanti Experience warmed up and dazzled the crowd with their unique blend of stone crushing bass and a larger than life visual display which filled up the entire width and height of the venue. I walked through the crowd talking to people and it was clear that this was many people’s first EOTO show. I assured them they were in for a treat.

This past Saturday EOTO came to town. Let’s face it, EOTO is not SCI. EOTO is a whole other beast, a nonstop force of bass with one purpose: make the crowd dance and dance and dance. Nothing too profound there. Yet EOTO shows are still packed with eager young bass heads as well as veteran SCI fans, night after night.
I was happy to revisit the Paradise and see what EOTO had in store for Boston. This is the third time EOTO has played the Paradise and it was a full house. I showed up rocking an official String Cheese Radio tshirt and immediately met up with some local “cheeseoto” heads standing in line. Read more…
